ABT COMPLETE FLUSH is designed for the collection of embryos from cattle and horses. ABT’s formulation contains PVA for its surfactant properties, Gentamycin as an antibiotic as well as energy sources and heavy metal chelators. No additives are required. Using ultra-purified water as a base, this solution is filtered to 0.2uM so there is no need for additional filtering before use.
Holding Media
ABT HOLDING medium was developed to provide embryos a sustainable and healthy environment after collection and before transfer or freezing. While ABT Holding is not meant to act as an extended culture medium for incubation, it does contain a variety of components such as amino acids, nutrients and energy sources that facilitate embryo viability.
Freeze and Thaw Media
ABT’s ADAPT EG FREEZE with SUCROSE & HA medium is formulated for cryo-preservation of bovine embryos and can be used in direct transfer freezing protocols. We’ve adapted our ABT EG Freeze with Sucrose formulation by excluding components of animal origin, helping to alleviate concerns about temperature controlled shipping and storage as well as potential bio-hazards.

ADAPT Media
ABT’s ADAPT HOLDING with HA medium provides embryos a sustainable and healthy environment after collection and before transfer or freezing. We’ve adapted our ABT Holding formulation by excluding components of animal origin, helping to alleviate concerns about temperature controlled shipping and storage as well as potential bio-hazards. ADAPT Holding contains hyaluronan (HA), a macro-molecule which replaces Bovine Serum Albumin commonly used in other embryo transfer media.
